Refund Policy
We don’t provide any refund or return, In special cases if refund is approved the amount will be credited in your bank account within 5-7 days
1. Non-Refundable Under Normal Circumstances:
- Prepared Food: Most restaurants or food services do not offer refunds for food once it has been prepared or consumed, as it’s perishable.
- Takeout and Delivery: If you order food for delivery, it is often considered final once it leaves the kitchen or store, unless there’s an issue (e.g., wrong item, missing items, or food safety concern).
2. Exceptions for Refunds or Compensation:
- Incorrect Orders: If the wrong food item is delivered or prepared, a refund or exchange is often offered.
Food Quality Issues: If the food is spoiled, undercooked, or doesn’t meet safety standards (e.g., contamination), most businesses will offer a refund or replacement. - Allergy Concerns: If the food contains an ingredient that you specifically requested to be excluded (like nuts or gluten), a refund might be issued.
3. Time Frame:
- Short Window: Refunds are typically only offered within a short time frame (e.g., within 24 hours or before consumption) for issues like food quality or incorrect orders.
- Post-Consumption: Once food is consumed, most companies won’t provide refunds unless there’s a clear health concern.
4. Refund Process:
If a refund is granted, it may either be issued as a monetary refund to your original payment method or as a credit for future orders (for delivery services).
Proof Required: You might need to provide evidence, like a photo of the spoiled food or a receipt, to help resolve the issue.
5. Policy Transparency:
Food businesses should ideally display their refund policy clearly on their menu, website, or receipt so that customers understand when a refund is valid.
Online food delivery services (like DoorDash, Uber Eats, etc.) also often have specific refund processes, especially when orders are canceled, wrong, or delayed.
6. Third-Party Platforms:
If you’re ordering through a third-party service, check their specific refund policy as it may differ from the restaurant’s. For instance, apps like Uber Eats or Grubhub often have their own rules for refunding delivery issues.
7. Refunds for Unopened, Unused Food:
If you bought packaged food or groceries and they’re unopened and still in their original condition, many stores allow for returns or refunds, especially if the item is defective or expired.
